Corn and Crazy "Hair"

"This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."
Psalm 118:24
Josiah with "Crazy Hair." It was originally one of those squishy, collect-everything, odd-looking balls that you get at restuarants (has the little arm that goes out and you drop it and it picks up something - most of the time missing - wasting your 50 cents). "Somehow" it got popped and turned into a new wig!

This is one of our corn patches. This one is doing better than the other.

Here are the corn silks - You know, the part you pull off when you're at the store. The corn is going to come out of the little leaves underneath the silks. Mommy is so excited! Let's just say I'm not so excited (I prefer canned corn over fresh corn-on-the-cob - I know, I'm weird :)).

For dinner tonight we're having potato soup. Of course we made extra so we can can some for the winter. We also peeled, went through and cut-up peaches and nectarines (I would say around 50-60). We canned those making "peach sauce." Pretty much peach baby food! Yum!

May Jesus bless you!

Adonai's daughter,
Kimber
