Daddy's Birthday Morning

3 Weeks ago we celebrated Daddy's birthday!  This post will be about his morning. :)
Some of the young 'uns helped with his beautifully decorated plate of goodies!
I did the Chair decor.
His morning wake up to the "Happy Birthday" song! :)
He was (ever so ferociously) attacked by Master Judah with a light-saber.
I didn't know there was Karate in Star-wars, but maybe I missed something? ;)
He was quite mesmerized by the power which he held in his right fist. :)
Daddy had told us before about a delicious treat his mother used to make, so we decided to try and make it for him ourselves.  We (I think it was Mom, Hannah, and Kimber) washed the peaches, cut them in half, took out the pit, placed them on a cookie sheet, generously sprinkled them with cinnamon sugar, and broiled them in the oven for a certain amount of time that I can't recall. :)
They were, as daddy had claimed, delicious! :)
For the main dish we had daddy's favorite- Farmer's Crepes (a name very be-fitting his farmer life-style ;)!  We had some pre-made from Hannah's birthday that we froze so it was pretty simple to prepare them this time! ;)
A bit of decor. Oh, and don't worry about the paint splotches on the soffet...we are trying to decide what color to put there. :)
Daddy enjoying his warm and sugary peach! :)
Pop-tarts! Cinnamon-Sugar pop-tarts, actually...they're dad's favorite.
I guess they were really good! :)
Or...maybe not? :)

The amazing Chef Judah! :)

That ends the post of Daddy's birthday morning...Kimber posted about his birthday night below this post...be sure to read it! :)

Have a blessed week!

Joyfully His,
Alexis

Daddy's Birthday Night

3 weeks ago we celebrated Daddy's birthday!

We had a special dinner of Dad's favorite:  chicken and wine sauce (no, we don't really use wine ;).  Rice, greenbeans, and home made bread completed the meal.

Daddy reading some cards the little ones gave him.

After dinner Daddy opened his presents:

Daddy got some candy, a belt, Created to Need a Help Meet, and other assorted gifts.
Mom wrapped these newborn diapers up and gave them to Daddy.  It took Daddy a while to figure out what was in the package, and what it meant, but he finally got it!  Mama was pregnant! :)

We usually end a birthday celebration with a movie, but it was a weekday, and it was already getting late.  So, we didn't. :)  I think Daddy had a great birthday anyways!

Kimber :)
