Father's Day 2012

This year's Father's Day was spent at Grandpa and Grandma's house!  We usually celebrate Father's Day with Daddy's side of the family because Grandma's birthday, Grandpa and Grandma's birthday, Father's Day, and Hannah's birthday all within a few days of each other.

After church we headed up to Northern VA and, once in Grandma's house, we found ourselves surrounded with delicious food!  Grandma had this stuff from Papa Patrone's that was absolutely delicious!  All it was was a bunch of cheese, pepperonis, and bread thrown together onto a pizza pan (at least that's how I saw it :).  Sometimes there was so much cheese, I couldn't find the pizza crust (so, it was wonderful albeit unhealthy!)!

That's the stuff I was talking about on the left.  Grandma also had some salad that was really refreshing after all that cheese and bread!
Grandma also had some spaghetti and meatballs (plus cheese).

All in all, lunch was amazing (as usual!).

Judah-man. :)

After lunch, we all camped out in the den, played a game similar to horse shoes, and just relaxed.

Then everyone who we were celebrating something for (birthday, anniversary, or being a Father!), opened their gifts/cards.  Grandpa started.

Nothin' like some suspenders...

...or home made cinnamon rolls! :)

My cousin, Amanda, is going to Duqesne college this year, so Grandpa got a Duqnesne shirt! :)

Grandma got Grandpa a Redskins shirt (Redskins are Grandpa's favorite football team) and some new shorts:

 Grandma's turn!

After all the presents and cards, we played Apples to Apples and then a card game that involved M&M's. :)  Around 5:30 P.M. Uncle Greg and his family had to leave to go to Aunt Amy's house for her Dad's Father Day celebration, so our family got some alone time with Grandpa and Grandma.

Some of us read books...

 ...watched a movie...

...or ate salads (again! :).

We ended the night with a delicious home made ice cream cake!

Happy *very late* Father's Day to any Fathers out there!!
